PlayerSide is a sports networking and matching platform that connects athletes, coaches and clubs. We help users create profiles, discover relevant opportunities and connect with suitable athletes, teams, clubs and coaches.
2. Information We Collect
When you register with PlayerSide, we may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, nationality, gender, sporting background, rankings, achievements, preferences, goals and other information you choose to include in your profile or registration form. If you purchase a paid membership, payment information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. PlayerSide does not directly store your full payment card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to operate PlayerSide, create and review user profiles, identify suitable matching opportunities, connect athletes with coaches and clubs, communicate with users, provide requested services and improve the SportSphere platform. Where relevant to the matching service, profile information may be shared with suitable athletes, coaches or clubs for the purpose of evaluating a potential match. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid PlayerSide memberships are processed securely through Stripe. Subscription fees are charged according to the membership plan selected at checkout. Users can manage their subscription, update their payment method, view invoices and cancel their subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal. If a subscription is cancelled, access to the paid membership continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Sharing of Information
PlayerSide may share relevant profile information with athletes, coaches, clubs or other sports organisations where this is necessary to provide our matching and networking services. We may also use trusted service providers, such as Stripe, to operate parts of our services. These providers process personal information only as necessary to provide their respective services. PlayerSide does not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Storage and Security
PlayerSide takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain user profiles, meet our legal obligations and resolve potential disputes.
